Large (Silky) Rainbow Fluorite Tower
Silky fluorite is a rarer variety of fluorite that tends to be opaque, with a more "silky" looking texture to it, its colors almost seeming to run or bleed into each other a little bit. It's definitely a cool and unique look for a crystal!
This is an absolutely beautiful piece, and it almost reminds me of something out of a fairy tale, like a purple and pink castle tower or something!
Story
I picked this one up from an independent crystal seller in North Carolina. I'd never quite seen a silky fluorite like that at that size, and really haven't found any since (in person, at least.) I absolutely love this one, so I hope you love it too!
